Lego Star Wars advent calendar: a photo essay

One day I opened my car to find a present in the seat. The only tag was this:

"After time machines are invented, send this back to yourself to complete the loop."

This is proof that either time machines will be invented someday or that I have the best friends in the world. Either way, I’m delerious happy.

It was a Star Wars Lego advent calendar

A happy dance ensued.

Jar Jar Binks

One of the days had a Jar Jar minifig. But shortly after that one of the compartments had an AT-AT pilot and things worked themselves out. The galaxy rejoiced.

Models Not to Scale

“Does this AT-AT make my butt look big? … and the rest of me look big as well?”

Ships I Recognize

These are all of the ships and vehicles I recognize. It’s amazing how distinctive they are, even when constructed by less than a dozen tiny pieces.

Ships I Don’t Recognize

What the heck is it? A Jawa Sand Crawler? Jabba’s sail barge? The battle-droid troop carrier? Help me out here if you recognize this one.

Merry Christmas, and may the Force be with you!

Darth Santa and I want to wish all the best to you and yours during this holiday season!

And may the Force be with you in the new year!

  2. Steven P. Ross says:

I think the unrecognizable ship is a Droid Carrier…
